Let me first congratulate you for the Golden Jubilee of Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) and wish you a future of growth and prosperity.
The past 50 years has seen the Indian automobile industry transform into one of the fastest growing in the world. As the industry has grown, FADA has played a significant role in enhancing dealership operations across the country.
Dealerships are the face of the brand to the customer and the most important touch-point in his purchase decision and after sales experience. We at Honda believe that our dealers are our equal partners and we are mutually inter-dependent for growth and prosperity. In this respect, we expect FADA to continue their efforts to spiral-up the quality and performance of the entire dealership fraternity.
The rapid growth and the presence of a variety of sophisticated vehicles, has led to a shortage of skilled manpower. I would also like to applaud the contributions of FADA’s Training Academy in training dealership staff and enhancing their skill levels. Attracting good talent in a competitive world has become a big challenge for business. As a next step, I look forward to FADA’s initiatives to make the dealership fraternity a magnet for good talent and preferred place for employment opportunities.
